I hope that all of you have a Great New Year!

Well read this story here. The end of our Country is getting near! America had better wake up soon, and start remembering where we came from and that many have fought and died to keep us FREE! Are we going to throw it all away? Tell your friends, and everyone you know to wake up! We also need to tell our President we need to support Israel, if they fall we will be next.

Its has been very hot the last few days, over 90+. I hope you are enjoying cooler weather. My wife did get the garden planted last week after i finished tilling it up. So far it is looking pretty good, but these hot days has really stressed it out, we have ben watering each night to keep it going thru the next day. Also I bought a new grill that is a smoker, gas grill, and charcoal grill all in one, it is very cool! The world news is not looking any better for this years crop production, look at the stories over in Europe of how they are destroying their food. Prices are really going to jump in the near future. Please stock up now!

With all the rain, flooding and general bad weather the Country has had, food prices are going to spike up. The winter wheat report is not good and with all the rain it is not going to get any better. Around here farmers are having a tough go. They have had to fight rain and cool temps., corn that has been planted is about 3 inches high but a lot of it may not survive all the rain. On the good side the forecast is calling for higher temps next week so that will help. If you are able, I would suggest that you plant your own garden. We have many things ready to plant if the weather would clear, it is really upsetting that we can not plant as the ground has standing water. If you are unable to have a garden please stock up now while prices are still low, i would get anything that has to do with corn, which is of corse everything!

The end of the World did not come yesterday as predicted. I think it came Thursday when Obama the only US President to do so, threw Israel under the bus. How can he say that Israel should go back to their 1967 borders? Does he not know that they would never survive because they would be surrounded on all sides by people who want to wipe them off the planet? We should be outraged as a nation that our President would utter such comments, they are not what most Americans think should happen. At least that’s what I hope. people need to realize that this President is harming our relationships with our allies all over the globe. America needs to stand with Israel, it is the only country in the middle east that has a government close to ours. If Israel falls the U.S. will be next. Just look to our southern border, mexicans are saying that the U.S. stole land from them and they want it back which is what is happening with Israel and the Palestine. Remember Israel is the Little Satan and the U.S. is the Great Satan. We will be next!

Still Raining

I don’t know what it is doing in your area, but here it seems like we can’t get two dry days in a row. It has been a very wet spring and the temp has been on the chilly side. I would really like to begin working up our gardens, but they are still a bit muddy. I am hoping to expand our gardens this year, as my wife really is great with the canner so it would be great to be able to stock up for the winter. We also have many projects to work on this year, replacing a few windows and finishing the chicken coop etc… I m going to plant a lot of beets this year as my wife learned a recipe from an Amish friend, and they are just like candy to me, man they are good! Would have liked to have the peas in, but it won’t quit raining. On the plus side the grass is growing good so we can let the animals out on pasture and save a few $ on hay. It works good until Tigger the bull decides right as I need to leave for work, that the winter wheat in the field next to the pasture looks much better than what he is eating and walks through the fence! Ah Good Times! The wife is going to take the three chicks out to the coop tonight after dark and stick them under a hen that is sitting on eggs, So learned that by doing so the hen thinks the chicks belong to her and will take care of them, which is much nice than having them in the house. Even though it raining spring is here and Gods earth is beginning to wake up from its winter slumber, and I for one am happy!

Big News of Today

Well by now you all have heard that Bin Laden is dead. After 10 years it almost seemed like it was never going to happen. Most of us never really thought much about it anymore, but today all Americans are remembering 9-11-01. I will never forget that day as I am sure you will not either.  I would like to say Thank You to our military, JOB WELL DONE!! The President and his administration also get my thanks! I was a little surprised by the way people celebrated in streets, I am happy too but I feel we should not have done that. It is what you see in the Middle East. I understand why they did it I just don’t agree with how they did it. Now I wonder what will happen next, will they try to attacks us again? Most likely they will. I guess only time will tell. Please Pray for our Troops tonight, and may God Bless this nation.

Hey I’m new here!

Well as the title says I new to this Blog thing, but I felt led to so. I have had a feeling for a long time that I should be doing this, I am not sure how it will go, but I will trust in the Lord and pray that he leads me to things to say on here. So lets give it a try.

I feel as most do (I hope) that our Country is not heading in the right direction, by that I mean the policies of our Federal Government seem to be doing more harm than good. Do you feel the Country is better today than it was 2 years ago, or how about 5 years ago, I don’t. Heck 2 years ago I was pretty much unaware of what was even going on in my own State let alone the Country. It is not just about Obama either, yes he is what woke me up and at first he was at the center of what I thought was the problem, but it much larger than that, it is the whole system. The problem to me is that Washington does not care what WE THE PEOPLE  think, all they seem to care about is getting reelected. This is not what it is supposed to be, we elect them, then they go to Washington to do their best to represent the people who sent them their, and at the end of their term if we feel they did a good job then we reelect them. Their are two problems with that statement: 1. The elected official almost aways want to make “Severing the Public” their career, which is not what the Founders envisioned, and 2. Which in my mind is our biggest problem is US the voter. Voters just seem to keep voting these officials back in for years or decades. Why? Well because most of us don’t care, most who do vote are not even sure what or who their voting for but they heard some ones name on tv or radio more than the other guy so he must be the better choice,Right? I just as guilty. I have in recent years really tried to be informed as much as I can on the issues or candidates I am voting for. So what can be done? First the voter has to get informed, and NEEDS to vote, second this Country needs leaders who are unafraid to make decidions on the issuse before him or her, if they do what they feel is the right thing to do(even pray on the issue) and is honest with the Country, then they should not have a fear of not being reelected becasue we would stand behind them 100%.
